There are dozens of mineral makeup brands on the market today. A couple have been in business for thirty years or so – albeit perhaps under a different name. Others were just formed within the last couple of years, to take advantage of the current craze for this type of makeup. That’s not necessarily a bad thing – many good companies are formed just because the business opportunity is there. But, others are formed to take advantage of crazes, without actually putting in the work involved to actually make a good product.
So, what is the best mineral foundation for you?

Of course, you can go the simple route – just stock up on a few varieties of mineral makeup, try them all, and decide on which one you like best. That’s certainly the quickest way to discover the best mineral foundation! But it’s also the most expensive!
To cut out a bit of the cost, try doing some research first. There are plenty of sites on the web that provide reviews of various makeup brands, including all of the mineral makeup manufacturers. Read what they have to say.
In addition, you’ll want to visit each company’s website and look at the list of ingredients they use to make their product. Obviously, the fewest ingredients used, the better. The names of all the ingredients will probably be incomprehensible to you, but if you look them up in a dictionary you’ll be able to educate yourself in the process.
You’ll also want to take a look at how much you’re paying. The health benefits of mineral makeup are such that you might be better off in the long run, but if you purchase from websites you don’t want to get caught up into having to buy a lot of product, before you decide whether or not you want to spend a lot of money on it.
