How to Do Makeup in 7 Easy Steps
If this is your first time to actually encounter having to apply makeup on yourself, you may be asking a very proverbial question, “How to do makeup properly?”
Well, it is not as easy as most men think it is. Here are some basic steps that will help you have that properly made up face without having to do much guesswork.
- The first thing that you need to do is to go to the department store and buy the most appropriate makeup for your face. The sales representative will most likely help you determine what skin type you have.
- After cleaning your face and hands, you start off by putting on some moisturizer on your face. This will also help on keeping the makeup on your face for a long period of time. If your foundation already has a built in moisturizer, then you may want to skip this part.
- Apply concealer on your face. A concealer is a shade or two lighter than your own skin and it is used to cover up blemishes and the black circles under your eyes. So only apply the concealer on appropriate “blemish” areas.
- Put on your foundation after, starting with your inner T-zone, blending out. Blend out until your neck area.
- Follow with the eye make up: eye brows, eye shadow, eye liner and mascara.
- For a natural tint on your cheeks, apply a dot of liquid cheek tint on the apples of your cheeks. Blend to appear natural.
- Lastly, finish your make up off with a lipstick that suits your skin tone.
And voila! Follow these 7 easy steps, tack them on your vanity mirror and you will no longer need to ask others on how to do makeup again in the future.
