- The first thing you should be doing is to figure out how much weight you want to lose. At which weight would you be most comfortable at? So, right now, you need to weight yourself. You basically need these numbers so that you can find out your body mass index (BMI). You want a BMI that is under 25 for you to be considered at having a normal weight. Any number 30 or more, you would be considered obese.
- Once you have your BMI number, you need to plan on how long you think it will take you to reach your target BMI. You didn’t gain your weight overnight, so don’t expect to lose a lot of weight in a very short time.
- A great idea to keep yourself motivated is to find some clothes that you would like to wear when you finally have lost your weight!
- You should be getting all the support you need when you are trying to lose weight. If you have a spouse, try encouraging them to help you out, by cooking healthy meals. They should try buying healthy foods and bringing home no fast food or sweets of any kind.
- Before starting out on your weight loss routine, you should properly prepare yourself. You should go out shopping for workout clothes. You will need shoes, shorts, and track pants. I know that if you follow these steps, you will succeed in losing weight!
