An effective weight loss diet menu will be high in protein and fruits and vegetables and low in sugar, fat and simple carbohydrates. You will more easily be able to stick to an eating plan if it suits your lifestyle and budget. Make sure you include a variety of fruit and vegetables, some whole grains and lean meat or alternative protein. Toss in aerobic exercise and plenty of fresh, clean water to drink and you will be well on your way to your ideal weight.
